Texture and color are key ingredients of Southwest architecture. Perhaps through my paintings you will be able to sense the roughness of the adobe walls and feel the warmth that they reflect. I enjoy working with the vibrant colors that are frequently used for accents on buildings.

Within my watercolors I try to capture the contract between strong, warm light and the coolness found in the shadows. There are rich colors and fascinating shapes hidden in those shadows.
